Seemingly they’re complete opposites: he’s broody, she’s bright; he’s reclusive, she’s gregarious — even their height difference (he’s 6′3, she’s 4′10) creates a contrast between the two. However, they have an amazing connection that no one but them can understand. While their love is something subtle, and perhaps something that can’t easily be explained or defined, it’s obvious that they mean everything to each other. Alice waited for him to complete her and Jasper, who struggles so much with his very being, finds hope and reassurance in her. All in all, while they can be quite different, they fit: a jigsaw falling into place.

What is there not to love? With their opposite personalities and obvious physical differences, Jasper and Alice make us all believe that there is such a thing as soul mates. They were born, or died in this case, to be with each other for all eternity. Their love not only contradicts all norms, it gives us fans hope for finding our true love. If Jasper and Alice love each other in such a way, whose to say we cant’?

They seem to be complete opposites - she’s constantly happy and carefree and he’s broody and more calm. And yet, that’s obviously not how they always are. I like to think that when they’re alone with each other, they can act differently. I always imagined that Jasper would relax his calm and broody demeanor when alone with Alice, and just be. Be carefree and open, I guess. They have such an intriguing romance because we don’t know much about them, but what we do know is that they are very much in tune to each other - they don’t need to say anything for the other to be completely clear on what is going on, or what is wrong. They are the perfect match. Plus, you know, the mindsex.

There’s just something about them that seems so perfect. Unlike Edward and Bella, Jasper and Alice have a quiet kind of love. And unlike Emmett and Roselie, they don’t feel the need to marry more then once. They are two opposites who found each other just when they needed one another the most. Alice is what keeps Jasper from giving into his vampire instincts and in turn I think Jasper keeps Alice grounded.
